Tom and Ellie's engagement session started as the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. opened on a rainy Saturday morning. We meandered around as much as we could before the rain filed in more visitors than anticipated and we decided to pivot to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception a short drive away. With the added seclusion and the atmosphere of a dreary May afternoon, they danced, they laughed, and they endured for one of my favorite sessions to date.

We told Amanda our top two hopes for what our wedding photos would depict: the holiness of the nuptial mass, and the crazy fun dance party at the reception. She absolutely delivered! We were blown away. She is not only a talented photographer but also a joy to be around. We would choose her again and again!"

Amanda is FANTASTIC! She was with us our entire wedding day and gave us higher-quality photos than we ever could have imagined. She was easy to work with, patient, and flexible. She made coordinating with our videographer look easy."
