Most couples schedule their engagement session 6-12 months before their wedding, but I recommend choosing a time when you can slow down and enjoy the season you’re in without feeling rushed.
Absolutely! Engagement sessions can be booked on their own, even if I’m not photographing your wedding day.
While this is something I never take lightly, thankfully, it has only happened once in my years as a full-time wedding photographer.
If an unforeseen circumstance were to arise, I would make sure your day is entrusted to someone who shares a deep reverence for the Mass and the importance of your sacrament, while also aligning with the intentional, documentary approach you chose with Dulcis Gratia.
I would then personally edit your images afterward to ensure the final gallery reflects the same care, consistency, and artistry you expected.
